Being the pioneer business case competition for Vietnamese highschool students, Vietnam High School Business Case Competition, organized in 2022 by The Trainee Club, YEO Vietnam and Student Consulting Group in collaboration with international high schools and multi-national companies, is a playground for students to develop strong critical thinking, consulting skills and industry-ready skills in entrepreneurship, marketing, finance, operations, etc. by working on real business challenges.

Have you ever faltered on the journey to achieve ambition because of self-doubting? High school is the most beautiful years of student life, when every young person has a burning desire to leave their own mark on the path striving towards their goals. Youth. Time. Fresh thinking. Progressive spirit. The potential of youth goes beyond the age or experience limits that students set for themselves. “Hope is like a path in the countryside. Originally, there is nothing - but as people walk this way again and again, a path appears.” (Lu Xun). Fear does not push you forward. You will not reach the finish line unless you believe in yourself and take the first step.

Aiming to become a mark for the first steps of young students who love business, and young people who want to discover themselves, VHBC 2023 has returned for a new season with an inspirational theme: “First mark”. The competition is a playground for "players" (VHBC’s contestants) to be fully packaged with spirit and strength through the process of cultivating knowledge and industry-ready skills to thrive from zero to hero.

Rules & Format

Competion Rules

Registration:

- A team of 3 members, who are Vietnamese citizens from the age of 15-18, attending High Schools in Vietnam.
- The team leader represents the team to fill out the registration form.
- Each participant can only register in one team.

- The information provided by the team must be true and accurate.
- The organizers may use the participants' photos in the competition for the purposes of promotion and communication.
- All complaints, disputes and suggestions please send to email address vhbccontact@gmail.com.

Round 1 - GAME ON:
Team Registration and Individual Assessment Test 

Students register in team then receive materials and textbook for preparation
Online assessment test is opened for each member takes individually.

Round 2 - BREAKTHROUGH:
Solving Case Study

TOP 40 prepare for business case around 2 weeks then submit online slide and video presentation.

Round 3 - LEAVE YOUR MARK:
Final round

Top 5 receive extended business case to compete and present in final night.

About Organizers

"Youth Empowerment Organization Vietnam is a Non-profit Organization, founded in 2019 by progressive and passionate pioneers. With the mission of career orientation, YEO Vietnam has successfully launched and organized a variety of Career Orientation programs for Vietnamese high school students.

We believe every high school student has the power to make their own career choices, if only they have the right information, meet the right person and do the right activity.
